I was surprised today with four pups from Annie.
A pleasant surprise.
Two tan like Eric, one tan and white, and another brown and tan.
Four healthy vigourous pups. I'll be needing to put down a bowl of feed within reach of the pups soon.
Welcome to my blog about one of the critters I enjoy the most...bunnies! I'll also talk about my other critters as well. :)

Things I love about Bunnies
1. picking up 3 week old kits just after you feed them hay and they keeping munching on it while you check them over.
2. Newborn babies. :)
3. the calmness of the boys.
4. the individuality of the girls.
5. the joy of a new pet owner
6. the satisfaction of pleasing another rabbit breeder
7. the joy of mentoring someone in the fine art and joy of that which is bunnies.

Rearranged Bunnies
Since I sold bunnies yesterday I also rearranged bunnies.
Nelson is now in a cage more suited to his size.
Slip and her kits moved up to Bunnies cage.
New New easter moved down to Sally's cage and Sally and her kits moved up to NN Easter's cage.
Ben moved inside from being outdoors and 10 little bucks moved out into Ben's old cage.
Buddy moved into Nelson's old cage, Ben into Gold rush's old cage.
New HL doeling into Speckles vacanted cage, and A new to me New Zealand doe into the pen the little boys used to be in.
I'll probably do some more rearranging yet, but this will work for now.

What I hate.....
rabbits who are healthy one day, and the next day looking like they are at death's door.
I hate it!
I hate it when they die for no apparent reason.
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heidi
This here is Heidi
She is the sweetest bunny. Very much a bunny in her attitude, has not reached "rabbit" status yet. :)
If she's like her mom she'll go thru five weeks of the grumpies as she maturing ... you will want to strangle her BUT there is hope! Once she gets past that stage she'll revert to previous sweet bunny status.
Dad was Stuart. A show mini rex bunny.
Mom is Hallow. Hallow is a BIG meat rabbit a bit bigger than one of my Harle does.
I suspect based on her body build and slower rate of growth that she will be bigger than a mini rex, but not as big as your average meat rabbit. She is so pretty and combined with the right MR buck should throw darling kits. She has a softer coat than mom did at this age.
Hallow -- October 6
10 kits born, looks like a nice healthy litter.
6 magpies...should all be chocolate.
4 japanese...look to be blacks.
