Lela - Kindles April 22, 2009

8 kits.

Most look broken. Two might be frosteds or whites. Hoping for a real doe this time around that is worth keeping.

Changed out Nest Boxes

Changed out the nest boxes for Lela and Bunny! today.

Baby buns are doing well. Bunny has two that have slightly sticky eyes. That should clear though now that the nests have been changed out.

Bunny is raising one of Lela's - a pointed one - as it was losing ground against the other five. Now both momma's are raising five. The pointed is looking better already.

Bunny has birthed four opals - two solid, two brokens.

Lela has birthed a real hodge-podge. One is a broken of unknown colour to me - very light colouration, two are pointeds, and the other three are broken - chestnut? and 2 opal/blue?

Six kits.

born Sunday afternoon, probably noonish...they looked VERY new yet.

Look to be five white...possibly frosted pearls like mom, and one broken.

Lela Kindled! November 12

Jim tells me that Lela kindled.

I haven't gone out to check.

AH!!! I want to see them! :)

This will be my first litter of pedigreed lops. So I'm hoping for much!

UPDATE: seven babies. no peanuts. five broken, two potential solids. I'm happy, happy happy!

another update: eight all together : three solids, the rest broken.
