Chels had her kits. She had a long labour (started this morning, ended tonight).
Two kits born, the first was as expected DOA, the second is just fine.
Chels will raise two of Dolly's along with her own.
Laddie is dad.

glad I went out right after church because she hardly pulled any fur and it was just starting to get chilled.

Silver Kindles - March 3, 2011
Silver Kindled on March 3.
Instead of her normal 8 she gave me four.
Wiggers should be dad...though I didn't get chestnut kits like I normally do... So I'm kinda curious if Blaze managed to do the job or not...though he was more interested in running away from this aggressive breeder than in pursuing her (he's just a very young fellow yet).
Ah well...time will tell. They act quite differently as bucks so the kits should reflect that.

Kacee - Kindles - Feb, 8, 2011
Kacee had six kits last night. Made an excellent nest.
Random is the father.
They look at first glance to be five chocolate magpies, and one Lilac magpie.... colours need to truly come in yet to be sure.
They are Harlequins.

Lyndy - kindles, January 20, 2011
four kits.
Two were tiny and appear to have been DOA. Two were normal sized for polish, but I forgot to check on her before I went to bed last night, and two kits can't keep warm in the winter even if mommy does everything right.
My bad. Mind you, it might not have made any difference if she kindled post 10 p.m. which is normal for most buns.
Four dead kits this morning. :(

Chelsea - November 28, 2010
This is a return to me, returned pregnant. Was supposed to be due in a couple of weeks, and well....She gave me one way earlier than I expected!
One very furred blue kit.
It was fostered to Bea as one kit alone doesn't keep warm very well.
Will be rebreeding Chelsea to see how she does her. She was supposed to have a temperament issue, but I have yet to see any temper on her. Time will tell as she's still REALLY new here (came last Thursday).
I am hoping it will be a buck.

Nicky kindled mid-morning.

Built an okay nest, nothing really good though.
I find it fascinating that the polish build tunnel nests.

Two broken, three self. Suspect all black, though not sure on the one as it has a spot on forehead so it might be a castor.
Didn't pull enough fur so I added some.
